No hassle no interference very clean but the bathroom was very small-otherwisw everything was very good.

Bathroom could be better laid out or increased in size (door on opening fouled toilet seat.)other than that all O/K.

It is a very good choice for bussiness trip due to its location and because there is an automatic system to check in as late as you arrive. also a free wifi in the room

The ground level is noisy when people are coming late at night

First night ..... There is no reception, entry into hotel works by entry code Booked.net do not tell you this, a separate email arrives from the Hotel I did not know this until I couldn't get in, No reply from reception just answering machine. So had to find a internet access to get code from email. Second night code had changed, got grumpy response from someone who sounded as though he had been woken up. Analogue tv Badly tuned dirty remote control, bathroom arranged so it blocked the window therefore bedroom had no window furniture looked as though it had come from a house clearance sale been badly painted and was smelly and dirty. 3Rd night Did not sleep because of noise from plumbing which continued all night.

      Location suited us very well

Dripping and wobbly taps. Poor quality bed and mattress. One of the walls had great big stains on it which looked like water marks due to a serious recent leak, crying out for redecoration. Poor quality sound insulation. The layout of the room (the room `Clifton' didn't have any windows only the shower room had) The tiles on the shower room floor needed re-grouting. There was no toilet roll holder.

      Clean room

No staff, no separate bathroom, sink basin and shower were in bedroom so no privacy.

      The room was warm

When I booked the room I was very hesitant because of the reviews. I did feel like turning around and going somewhere else but unfortunately I could not afford to lose the money. I was only there for one night so I decided to stay. The room was the most expensive one so I thought it would have to be reasonably ok. On arrival I found I could not get it as per the instructions e-mailed to me so I used the phone to let the landlord know I was waiting to check in. The voice on the end of the phone said he would send someone to let me in. Within a couple of minutes 2 people appeared a man with a screwdriver that needed to cut through the room to adjust the boiler and a foreign girl who went in the room before me to remove various items of her own personal belongings (clothing and even a pair of boots that were at the bottom of the bed). It looked like she had been using the room to relax in as it did not look as though she had been cleaning. The rug on the floor was absolutely filthy and torn and the blinds on the windows did not meet in the middle. I really do wonder how this guest house has achieved its four stars as I would not have given it a two star rating.

The bathroom was new and very clean. Bottled water was replaced daily.

I would have liked an easy chair in the room.

Good location, near a variety of bars, restaurants and shops.

Furniture in the room was cheap and rickety. The room was freezing when we arrived but warmed up after we had turned up the radiator. The room ("Bedford") was on the lower ground floor on the street. The window was covered by office blinds, some of which were broken so that people on the street could see in. TV is tiny and old. Strange noises from the small fried and the toilet. Not sure how this got 4 stars - and who awarded the stars.

The location was convenient, and you can check-in at any time because of the key-code system they use.

The bed was incredibly small, the room was also small and got hot very quickly. Noise travels through the walls so it was really hard to get any sleep, and the plumbing was noisy so when someone showered in another room you could hear it.

Easy check in and out. Room was ready even though we were 2hours early.

Drains smell in bathroom. Very thin walls.

The roof leaked when the upstairs folk had a shower.

it was near the seashore, and by the town center

the room was a bit small, and hardly any staff around. we did book a room but due to maintenance work we got informed we were moved to another room. on arrival we noticed no maintenance work going on and someone else was staying in the room we were originally meant to stay in.

Good location. Clean, comfortable room. Esay administration and good contact with staff - even though they were not present on site

I had thought breakfast was included - maybe my error though. Parking is quite difficult in the area. This is not the hotel's fault, but is worth bearing in mind if you have a car. Actually we managed to use on street parking very efficiently...

The Linen on the beds were gorgeous and it was very clean.

There was a bad damp stain on the wall it was very small looking out into a back yard and I thought it was very expensive at £90.00 per night for the size of the room and that didnt include breakfast either.
